Ayushmann Khurrana was born on 14 September (aged 39 years; as of ) in Chandigarh, India.
He was born as Nishant Khurrana but later his father changed his name to Ayushman Khurana when he was three. Ayushmann was a bright student at school; he was a great performer as well and always wanted to be an actor.
He drew his inspiration from his grandmother, who used to mimic Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar. However, when he told his paternal grandmother that he wanted to be an actor, she slapped him.
